Monica Holmes founded the Clean Plate Club in 1980. She has provided the culinary inspiration for thousands of events in Nashville and throughout the region. She understands the role that food plays in every situation and creates menus that complement and enhance the experience of every guest. Together with her son and business partner Chris Holmes, The Clean Plate Club continues to blend the traditional and eclectic in a truly unique style.
A fifth generation Nashvillian, Chris Holmes was born into the world of food beverage. Chris experienced the high energy of food service while working as a Server/Bartender for local restaurants and as the Opening Staff/Corporate International Trainer for the Hard Rock in Nashville. From there, Chris earned his degree from the Opryland Culinary Institute, and then joined forces with Monica at Clean Plate Club in 1999. Chris enjoys trying new restaurants and living life to the fullest alongside his wife and two children.
Greg Anderson, Clean Plate Club’s executive chef, began his culinary career 26 years ago. After attending the Opryland Hotel Culinary program, he worked as a sous chef at The Wild Boar, the only 4 star-5 diamond restaurant in Nashville at the time. Since then, he has worked under a Master Chef, in hotels and country clubs, and was Executive Chef for Dell Computers in Nashville. His favorite cuisines include upscale French and Asian and he enjoys smoking meats and making our own house-cured pork belly.
As Clean Plate Club’s Office Manager, Lisa wears many hats, but her primary responsibilities include payroll, accounts payable/receivable and HR management. Lisa enjoys reading, taking care of her family, and tasting all the delicious, innovative meals that Clean Plate Club creates so well.

Dave Williams, who is originally from Jackson, TN, has thirty years of experience as a culinary professional, with the past twelve years spent at The Clean Plate Club. Prior to his current role, Dave worked in various positions at Hyatt Hotels International, Ritz-Carlton Hotels (in Buckhead, Atlanta and Naples, Florida) and the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY. Chef Dave was also the Executive Chef at the Blue Moon Waterfront Café from 1997-2004.
